Empowering People, Strengthening Community
A Little history about me:
Christopher Semok was born on August 29, 2003, in Plantation, Florida, to a lower-working-class family. From an early age, he faced significant adversity—growing up in conditions marked by economic hardship, food insecurity, and instability. At times, he endured entire days and nights without a meal and spent several formative years in a foster home in Fort Lauderdale. These experiences did not weaken his resolve; instead, they forged in him a deep empathy for those who struggle to meet their basic needs and a lasting commitment to the values of dignity, solidarity, and justice for everyday people.
It was through these early life challenges that Christopher developed a strong sense of character and an unwavering understanding of the realities faced by the often-overlooked majority in America: the working class. His personal journey has given him a firsthand perspective on the importance of affordable housing, accessible public services, and fair wages—issues that continue to define the lives of many in our communities.
In 2024, seeking a new beginning and a deeper connection with the land and people, Christopher moved to Columbia Falls, Montana. Embracing his new home with energy and humility, he began serving the community as a postal worker, delivering mail and parcels to residents across the area. Later, he continued his service by joining FedEx Ground, further deepening his commitment to the essential, behind-the-scenes work that keeps everyday life running for all of us.
Christopher Semok is now running for City Council with a clear and resolute purpose: to represent the many, not the few. He believes Columbia Falls deserves leadership that understands the struggles of ordinary people—someone who will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with working families, not above them. His vision is of a city that works for everyone, where prosperity is shared, voices are heard, and no one is left behind.
